Using Extreme Create

The Create button on the Basic Panel will either perform a simple Step 'n Repeat production with the selected Item Design from the Select an Item Design, create the selected Page Design or create the selected Page Queueing Catalogue selected from the Select a Page Design popup menu.

Step 'n Repeat
Select an Item Design from the Select an Item Design pop-up menu and make sure, that nothing is selected in the Page Design popup menu (the popup menu should just read Select a Page Design).
Click the Create button. Cacidi Extreme will create a Step 'n Repeat production with the same selected Item Design, placing on design in every tile in the defined Page Grid and keep placing Item Designs until there is no more data available in the Data Source. The top left tile will hold the 1st entry from the data source and the procedure will produce the Item Designs column by column, merging data from each data entry into each placed Item Design. To create the Item Designs in a horizontal way, row by row, hold down the Option key on a Mac or the Alt key on a Windows before clicking on Create.
This is a very easy solution to create simple productions with one simple design.

Page Design Creation
Select a saved Page Design from the popup menu and click Create. Cacidi Extreme will create the page with the current Data Source, placing the selected Item Designs in the right places according to the Page Design and merging data into them from the Data Source. The process will stop when there is no more data in the Data Source or when every field in the Page Design has been created.

Catalogue Creation
Select a saved Page Queueing Catalogue designed and saved from the Page Queuing panel and click Create. Cacidi Extreme will now create the whole catalogue, creating extra pages as needed and placing the desired Item Designs in the right places according to the individual Page Designs saved within the Catalogue.
